The DCIIA Plan Administration Committee provides a forum to encourage and promote research, dialogue, education, thought leadership, and best practices related to plan administration and governance; and the expansion of institutional investment approaches.  The Committee was established in accordance with DCIIA’s founding charter and core beliefs. It brings together a diverse group of industry professionals, including: investment managers, insurance companies, consultants, record keeping and trust companies, plan sponsors, law firms, academia and other stakeholders focused on improving outcomes for American workers by advocating the application of sound policies and solutions.  The Committee will work closely with other DCIIA committees in order to synchronize initiatives and provide input on related projects.

Mission

The DCIIA Plan Administration Committee’s mission is to:

  • Assist plan sponsors by communicating and benchmarking plan features, governance standards, and institutional practices that will improve outcomes for participants.
  • Encourage operational standards for supporting the PPA and institutional investing approaches.
  • Provide education tailored to the needs of multiple audiences: plan sponsors, participants, consultants, and regulators.
  • Act as an operational and technical resource for projects led by other DCIIA committees.
